Plastic Enclosure Mouldings – Overview
Rubbertech has been supplying plastic enclosures to the electronics industry for over 25 years in partnership with our expert toolmakers and production partners in the Far East.
Our experience and relationship with our toolmakers ensure stable supply, high-quality products and the very highest standards of engineering expertise offered to our customers. We also produce everyday items like bottle caps using plastic injection moulding.
How we work
All enquiries undergo design evaluation so that when quoting customers, we can offer the est price and technical feedback to help eliminate any issues at the earliest opportunity.
Once projects move forward then a more detailed evaluation of the design is carried out, including a review of the complete assembly, mould flow analysis and review of finishing processes required. The efficiency of the injection moulding process makes it ideal for mass production, ensuring high-volume production of complex shapes.
At the tooling stage, full tool designs can be supplied and tools are 100% customer-owned. Tooling first-off samples are supplied to ensure fit and function before specific finishes are applied for final samples. We also specialise in the manufacturing of mechanical parts using plastic injection moulding.
The plastic injection moulding process involves injecting heated plastic materials into a mould, which is then cooled and solidified to produce moulded products.
Once parts are in production, we look to supply the first order as quickly as possible and where possible discuss with customers about stock holding parts at our UK factory to help reduce costs and ensure rapid deliveries. We offer a wide range of products and components across different markets and applications.
