In these testing times, Rubbertech 2000 remains open for your business. We have made many changes within our factories to prioritise the safety and health of our workforce. Social distancing, split shift patterns and working from home where possible are now the new norm and these are just a few of the measures in place that ensures we comply with the government guidelines and are a Covid-19 Secure Business.

Ventilators
We were approached in early April to supply critical mouldings for the Penlon ES0 2 ventilators that was part of the Challenge UK Consortium. Our challenge was to increase output tenfold to ensure we could supply over 3000 components per week. 6 weeks later we completed supply of 15,000 mouldings. This was an amazing achievement by our team in the factory and very satisfying that we were able to contribute to the national effort.
Spray coatings to help with cleaning
We often apply spray coatings onto our silicone mouldings. They can help keep silicone components dirt free and make them easier to clean in use. You may not know, but most of our spraying is now automated and carried out using a robotic spray unit, this has increased quality and in turn improved efficiency.
Anti-microbial Coatings and Materials
Where required we can incorporate an anti-microbial additive to our materials, for some mouldings that then have printing applied we then overspray with an anti-microbial spray coating. If you are interested, please make contact.
