Rubbertech have been a manufacturer of Rubber Bellows for over 20 years and supply many bellows to the electronics, marine, power & medical industries.
Bellows are often required to protect and seal parts where vibration, movement or misalignment can occur in operation.
Rubbertech manufacture bespoke rubber bellows to our customer’s designs for applications as diverse as:
- Protection of actuator rods.
- Pick and placing suckers for material handling and packaging machines.
- Outdoor protection of high voltage equipment where the UV resistance properties of silicone is important.
- Protective proofing for switches and joysticks.
All of our silicone rubber bellows mouldings are produced to customer design; all parts have their own unique material mix to accommodate specific requirements our customers have advised. We supply switch bellows used on military switches that need extremely low temperature properties, FDA approved food grade bellows, high tear strength bellows for joysticks and many more.
Although most of the bellows we produce are in silicone we can when necessary produce in other materials such as Neoprene, Nitrile and EPDM. To ensure the bellows operates effectively in the environment that it will be used in it is important to use the correct material. We have excellent relations with our material suppliers that help us to advise and develop the correct material to ensure correct operation.
